M 4.4 Earthquake in Northern Arizona Felt in St. George Area

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports that a light earthquake of magnitude 4.4(USGS) occurred at 3:18 PM on September 19, 2022 (MDT).  The epicenter of the shock was located in northern Arizona about 30 mi SSE of Saint George, UT with more than 100 felt reports.  
The largest earthquake in the area was a  magnitude 5.9 on September 2, 1992, 1.8 mi SSE of Washington, UT.
