University of Utah Seismograph Stations

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports that a minor earthquake of magnitude 3.8 occurred at 04:12 PM on May 31, 2022 (MDT). The epicenter of the shock was located 31.3 mi WSW of Fruita, CO and about 36 mi NNE of Moab, UT just north of I-70. An M 2.5 foreshock occurred 16 seconds beforehand.
The earthquake was reported felt in the Grand Junction, CO region and into Utah.
