University of Utah Seismograph Stations

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports that a light earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred in southern Utah at 09:29 PM on April 11, 2012 (MDT). The epicenter of the shock was located 13 mi NNW of the town of Tropic and 18 mi E of the town of Panguitch, UT.
The earthquake was reported felt in southern Utah and northern Arizona, including the towns of Panguitch, Escalante, and Kanab, UT, and Page, AZ.
The magnitude 4.3 event was preceded by a foreshock of magnitude 2.9 at 06:25 PM and followed by four aftershocks of magnitude of 2.0 to 2.6 within the first hour. On February 11, 2012, a magnitude 3.5 earthquake occurred 20 mi to the west of today's earthquakes, near the town of Panguitch.

Released: February 11, 2012 10:15 PM MST
The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports that a minor earthquake of magnitude 3.6 occurred in southern Utah at 9:19 PM on February 11, 2012 (MST). The epicenter of the shock was located 2.4 mi northwest of the town of Panguitch, UT. This earthquake was preceded by three foreshocks, the first and largest of which was a magnitude 3.3 event at 8:06 pm. The main shock and the foreshock were both felt in Panguitch. The main shock was also reported felt in other cities and towns, including Cedar City. The area where today's earthquake occurred is seismically active. On January 3, 2011, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake occurred near the town of Circleville, thirty miles to the north of today's earthquakes.

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports that a minor earthquake of magnitude 3.7 occurred at 04:27 AM on February 04, 2012 (MST). The epicenter of the shock was located beneath the Wasatch Range, 9 mi east-southeast of the town of Salem, Utah, and 15 miles east of Santaquin, Utah. This earthquake was reported felt in Salem, Spanish Fork, and other cities and towns in Utah Valley.

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports that a small earthquake of magnitude 2.8 occurred at 12:49 PM on January 5, 2012 (MST). The shock occurred beneath the Wasatch Range in northern Utah, with an epicenter 5 mi northwest of Summit Park, UT, and 12 miles east-northeast of Salt Lake City UT. The earthquake was reported felt in Bountiful, Park City, and Salt Lake City, UT.
